WIN01 - Evaluate and reinforce the security of workstations

Among the components most exposed to intrusions into corporate information systems, workstations are often the preferred means for attackers to penetrate internal networks. Numerous techniques, from physical intrusion to social engineering, are used in order to obtain an initial compromise of the workstation. The security of the workstation is far from being limited to the configuration of an antivirus, which constitutes a first barrier that is generally trivial to circumvent. Many weaknesses are very often induced by system configuration errors or lack of hardening. This training aims to provide administrators in charge of managing Windows fleets with the keys to identify and correct these weaknesses, through an offensive and awareness-raising approach.
